My Dream Crate from LootCrate

November 30, 2016 by Jaime Leave a Comment

My Dream Crate from LootCrate

Are you familiar with Loot Crate?  It’s a monthly mystery crate for pop culture fans filled with incredible and exclusive items and apparel from your favorite tv shows, movies, games, and more! I’ve been eyeing up a subscription to this box for a while because there are so many pop culture fandoms that we are fans of here at Fiction Fare!  But have you ever thought about putting together the subscription crate of your dreams? Well, the LootCrate is looking for fans to do just that. Loot Crate wants to find out what fans would do if they had the ability to box up their own Dream Crate!

How could I pass this opportunity up? I mean I get a handful of subscription boxes, but if I’m honest, they’re never exactly everything I hope they would be… so now I have a chance to share with you guys what I would put in my own crate!

My first step in the process was deciding on the theme!  It was actually easier for me than I thought it would be.  See… I recently saw Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them and immediately knew that I wanted to create a box that had to do with this amazing movie!  Are you ready?

51ucbdaukvl-_sx321_bo1204203200_I don’t think that I can do this box without including the actual book! Everyone should have this on their shelves!

A copy of Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them resides in almost every wizarding household in the country. Now Muggles too have the chance to discover where the Quintaped lives, what the Puffskein eats and why it is best not to leave milk out for a Knarl.

I think that all subscription boxes should include a t-shirt!  And this one would be perfect to add to this crate!  A list of all the fun and fantastic creatures you can find in the movie on the front of your t-shirt is perfect for any fan!

il_570xn-1131366285_bohqI love candles and I absolutely think one would be a perfect addition to this crate! This one from Nerdwicks sounds absolutely amazing!  A candle inspired by the magic and mayhem of mystical mythical monsters. Smells like bay leaf and tobacco. 8 oz. candle

A hand drawn, hand cut and baked item will only add to the amazingness of this crate and fans of Newt Scamander, the Hufflepuff Magizoologist, are going to love the unique touch this will add!

Isn’t it the cutest thing ever! I would love to put this on my bag!

il_570xn-1126768055_ijyjNo book is complete without a set of bookmarks to use while reading Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them and these are super cute and perfect if you ask me!  I love magnetic bookmarks and am so excited that someone is making a set for this book series!

I know I was eyeing up the scarf that Newt was wearing throughout the movie and I’m so excited that you can
find talented people who can make these items!  I love the colors and with winter around the corner it would be the perfect addition to this crate!

fantastic-beasts-and-where-to-find-them-complete-set-7-funko-pop-2I don’t think that ANY crate is complete without a Funko inside!  I love all the Fantastic Beast Funko’s that are out there now and I think I’d include one of these in each box – which one you get would be a surprise!

One last item that is all the rage these days is a Fantastic Beasts Coloring Book!

Immerse yourself into the world of Newt Scamander as he starts off on his adventures in America. The Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: Magical Characters and Places Coloring Book takes you through the intricate details of Rowling’s mind and characters. The illustrated black and white images of scenes from the film and designs from its creation are just waiting for you to grab some colored pencils and bring them to life!

THINKGEEK

If you’re a pop culture fan like I am and haven’t yet checked out Loot Crate, you definitely need to give it a look! I’ve seen some of the past crates and they’re pretty amazing!   I know I’ll definitely be looking into a subscription in the new year for myself!

What would you do as your Dream Crate and what would be one item you’d put into it?  Do you get any subscription boxes currently?  What are they?  What do you think of the Dream Crate I’ve created? Do you have a favorite item? Create your own DREAM CRATE and link up in the comments! We would love to see what you can create!
