This is a feature we started so we could let you all know about some great books that are out there. If you need a reminder about what Flashback Friday is all about, check out the page here.
If you have a Flashback Friday, link it in the comments!
All I can say is that if you haven’t read this book and you like stories about love, life, friendship and swoons, you are seriously missing out. We decided on the podcast that we were going to do a re-read and talk all about this book next month so pick it up and read along with us! You can thank us later because it’s not a stretch to say this book gets an annual read from at least 50% of our podcasters…it’s that good.

"One thing my mother never knew, and would disapprove of most of all, was that I watched the Garretts. All the time."
The Garretts are everything the Reeds are not. Loud, messy, affectionate. And every day from her rooftop perch, Samantha Reed wishes she was one of them . . . until one summer evening, Jase Garrett climbs up next to her and changes everything.
As the two fall fiercely for each other, stumbling through the awkwardness and awesomeness of first love, Jase's family embraces Samantha - even as she keeps him a secret from her own. Then something unthinkable happens, and the bottom drops out of Samantha's world. She's suddenly faced with an impossible decision. Which perfect family will save her? Or is it time she saved herself?
