Bad Boy Rehab Book Hop Giveaway!

January 9, 2013 by Jaime 77 Comments

Bad Boy (n.) person
1. A guy who has many characteristics of a naughty, naughty boy.
OMG let the drooling begin.

2. A heartbreaker with a five o’clock shadow.
Rawrrrrrr!

3. Independent and willful. Does what he wants when he wants. Never follow trends, they follow him.

4. Someone that’s not looking for trouble, but there’s a serious sense of danger about him.
We love danger!

Usable Note: A bad boy is a gorgeous man with MANY layers and is INSANELY irresistible to women.
 *raises hands*… YES PLEASE!

I knew when I saw this hop that I had to sign up for it. I mean… who doesn’t like the bad boys? Seriously?

One of the good things about YA Fiction is there are always lots of bad boys to admire drool over. The big question was which one was I going to feature!  Would it be Daemon from The Lux Series by Jennifer Armentrout? What about Lucas from Easy? Maybe Rafa from Shadows or Warner from Shatter Me/Destroy Me or even The Darkling from Shadow and Bone?  When it all came down to it, I really wanted to feature a book that I loved this past year with a bad boy that I haven’t really talked much about.

SO… in the end it had to be Noah Hutchins from Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry.
No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with “freaky” scars on her arms. Even Echo can’t remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal. But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and surprising understanding, Echo’s world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common. And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible.

Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can push the limits and what she’ll risk for the one guy who might teach her how to love again.

Did you see that… “smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket”.  Total badboy for sure.  In all honesty, he is so much more than your typical bad boy though.  Once you start reading and hear his story, you’ll fall in love with him just like I did!
Don’t be misled, this is not a light book at all, and is really about more than just the romance of Echo and Noah. What you’ll read in Pushing the Limits is the story of a broken girl and a troubled boy who eventually learn to trust again.

You can read my review on Goodreads if you want to get my full opinion, but you all know I only love the good stuff!

ok… so now to the really good stuff – I’ll be giving away 1 (one) copy of Pushing the Limits to a lucky winner!  Be warned I will validate the entries!
