NEW ADULT SLEEPOVER WEEKEND IS A CONVENTION.
Yes, there’s a book signing involved, but that’s not all it is. It’s an event, with a focus of readers and authors connecting over the smexy and swoon-worthy books they love to write and read. We welcome all forms of New Adult literature, from the sweet to the smexy.
I thought I’d take a chance to highlight a few of the MANY authors that are going to be attending!Â
MARISSA CARMEL
Marissa Carmel has loved writing ever since a young age. She has a duel degree in History and Political Science, but took as many creative writing classes in college as she could. She spent most of her twenties bartending which is where she met her husband and a multitude of interesting people. When she’s not reading or writing, she’s hanging out with her family, experimenting in her kitchen or doing yoga on the living room floor.

JENNIFER COMEAUX
Jennifer Comeaux is a tax accountant by day, writer by night. There aren’t any ice rinks near her home in south Louisiana, but she’s a diehard figure skating fan and loves to write stories of romance set in the world of competitive skating. One of her favorite pastimes is travelling to competitions, where she can experience all the glitz and drama that inspire her writing.

STEPHANIE LAWTON
After collecting a couple English degrees in the Midwest, Stephanie Lawton suddenly awoke in the deepest reaches of the Deep South. Culture shock inspired her to write about Mobile, Alabama, her adopted city, and all the ways Southern culture, history and attitudes seduce the unsuspecting.
A lover of all things gothic, she can often be spotted photographing old cemeteries, historic buildings and, ironically, the beautiful beaches of the Gulf Coast. She also has a tendency to psychoanalyze people, which comes in handy when creating character profiles.
She has a love/hate relationship with Mardi Gras and can sneeze 18 times in a row.
Those are our featured NASW authors for today! Hope you found some one new to add to your TBR list and if you want to check out all the details on NASW head on over to the website!Â
