This week the topic is Top Ten Books Featuring Travel in Some Way… now we may have stretched this category, but in my opinion these books all feature some sort of travel!
Dystopian / Paranormal – You had to know I was going to include this category… I mean it’s my favorite kind of read lately. These all involve some travel, I guess you might call them roadtrips of a sort!
Time Travel / Parallel Universes /Alternate Worlds – I love the idea of alternate universes and time travel and all of these are among my favorites!
On The Run – The Rules for Disappearing ended up becoming a quick favorite once I finished it. I adored the characters and the premise of having to change who you are over and over just to survive was wonderfully done.
On Vacation – This book was and still is among my favorites. It’s an amazing read and while I’m sure I could go on and on about it, I’ll simply say you must read this incredible story.
Accidental Roadtrip – I absolutely loved this book. Want to read about a couple soon to be graduating high schoolers who accidentally end up in a truck being smuggled to Mexico? It’s got a bit of fun, a bit of serious and some wonderful characters you definitely need to know!
Planned Roadtrip – This book sat on my to read shelf for a while for some odd reason. I finally picked it up and I was so glad I did. This book is what every roadtrip should be. A way to find yourself and I loved what Matson did with the trip journal too – the lists of music and the sites seen along the way were wonderful.
