Top Ten Books (Boys) That Will Make You Swoon

February 11, 2014 by Jaime Leave a Comment

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the awesome and wonderful people over at The Broke and The Bookish

We decided to make this one – Boys in books that will make you swoon.  Also – we may have more than ten. Please don’t pretend you’re surprised.

The Distance Between Us
The Distance Between Us – Xander sips Caymen’s hot chocolate to make sure it isn’t too hot…Enough said.

My Life Next Door (My Life Next Door, #1)

My Life Next Door (Jase) – um. If you haven’t read this book then… I don’t even know what to say to you. Except that Jase is mine. lol

“Um. So… are we going to study?”

Jase slides his thumbs behind my ears, rubbing the hollow at their base. He’s only inches from my face, still looking into my eyes. “You bet. I’m studying you.”

Half-Blood (Covenant, #1)Pure (Covenant, #2)Deity (Covenant, #3)
Apollyon (Covenant, #4)Sentinel (Covenant, #5)

Covenant Series – Every time Aiden calls Alex Agapi Mou my heart melts a little bit more.

The Sea of Tranquility

The Sea of Tranquility – Josh make Nastya a chair. If you have read this book you know what this means.  If you haven’t..go read this now!!

Crown of Midnight (Throne of Glass, #2)

Crown of Midnight – There isn’t just one thing that makes Chaol swoony…it is a million little things. Yes this book includes assassins and death but there is so much more!

Under the Never Sky (Under the Never Sky, #1)Through the Ever Night (Under the Never Sky, #2)Into the Still Blue (Under the Never Sky, #3)

Under the Never Sky (Perry and Roar)
Perry: What I was trying to say,” he whispered, “is that I see you in everything. There isn’t a word for you that means enough, because you’re everything to me.”

Roar: “Here, love.”

“I’m fine.”

“Well, I’m not. I’m scared. Take my hand?”

She humors me – I never fall – but I get what I want: her hand in mine. An excuse to feel a bit of her strength as we make our way down the hill. And a window into her thoughts.

Siege and Storm (The Grisha, #2)

Siege & Storm – Mal started to step things up toward the end of Shadow & Bone and then by the time we got to this book, I started to see why people thought he was swoony.  He has definite moments that made me wonder who I would choose – him or The Darkling.

Eleanor and Park
Eleanor and Park – Mixed tapes, phone calls and hand holding…these are just a few of the things that make us think this book is swoony.

Time Between Us (Time Between Us, #1)
Time Between Us – ahhhh Bennett – I love this book so very much and if you haven’t read it get on that.  It’s such a beautifully written story and so wonderfully unique!

“I’m completely in love with you. What if I didn’t leave, after all?”

Reboot (Reboot, #1)
Reboot – You’re probably thinking….is this really swoony??  YES – Callum is super swoony and makes this book one of our favorites.  I believe I may have heard Jaime say that he’s one of the swooniest.

Of course…we had more than ten. I know, you’re super surprised.  Below is our honorable mention list that we felt like we had to mention because there are so many swoony books out there that we want every one to know about!
