We can’t believe that BEA 2015 is almost here! As it gets closer, one of our important activities is figuring out which authors are on the BEA schedule and then outlining our schedules. Thankfully we have Meg, who color coordinates our schedules and creates the outlines based on who we all decide we want to see. With that said, as we have started going through the schedule, we have come up with a preliminary list of authors we are excited to see and the books we can’t wait to get our hands on!
Susan Dennard – Truthwitch – ARE YOU EVEN KIDDING – if you read our RealBooks newsletter you know this is my (jaime) anticipated book at BEA this year. I am going to try really hard to be all cool when I get to her.
Jennifer Niven – All the Bright Places – Love this book and am excited to get the chance to possibly meet Jennifer
Leigh Bardugo – Six of Crows – Seriously this is a given right. I’m dying to get the chance to say hello to Leigh again AND get a copy of Six of Crows
Virgina Boecker – The Witch Hunter – We read this book and loved loved it so getting the chance to meet her will be perfection!
Josephine Angelini – Firewalker – Very excited to read the second book in this series!
Alexandra Bracken – In the Afterlight – I’ll be honest I’m hoping to get my hands on Passenger though!
Rebecca Serle – Truly, Madly, Famously – Really enjoyed Famous in Love so I’m hoping to like this one too!
Sara Raasch – Snow Like Ashes – this book is amazing you guys, and we haven’t met Sara before so this will be awesome and we’re seriously hoping that Ice Like Fire is there too!
Heather Demetrios – Blood Passage – Heather Demetrios – that should be explanation enough.
Katie McGarry – No Where but Here – we haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Katie yet in real life, so we after loving all of her books we’re excited to finally get the chance!
Eleanor Herman – Legacy of Kings – we’re so stinking excited for this book so meeting the author will be the cherry on top!
Libba Bray – Lair of Dreams – The Diviners is on my bookshelf and I seriously need to read it… I feel like if I get the chance to meet her I’m totally going to be bumping it to the top of my list!
Marie Lu – The Rose Society – My love for Marie Lu is immense you guys.
Erin Bow – The Scorpion Rules – this is a new author for us but we’re excited to get our hands on this title!!
Aaron Hartzler – What We Saw – I’m super intrigued to see how this book is going to go, I’ve heard amazing things so I’m hoping we get to grab it as well!
Natalie D. Richards – My Secret to Tell – We HEART Natalie and her books and can’t wait to get our hands on this one!
Have we missed someone who’s going to be there that we must make a priority to meet? What books are you excited to see and grab? Let us know in the comments!
